Such an incredible day trip! We were lucky enough to see around 15 bears including lots of cubs, and the views from the Transfagarasan were incredible. Stop offs at the mountain top, waterfall and dam were very impressive. Lots of time spent travelling so be prepared for a long day! The one down-side was that a message was sent the night before to all attendees telling us to be at the meeting point at 6am instead of 7am - but this turned out to be an error, meaning we all arrived early and had to wait around for an hour. It was very confusing to find the right bus as lots of tours were leaving from the same pick up point - perhaps a different start location would help things run more smoothly.
