From a central location, close to Manchester Piccadilly Station, a small group of nine set off in glorious March sunshine, led by an excellent driver/guide, Darren. En route we viewed the rolling hills, limestone building and railway viaducts of the Peak District, with time spent in the Plague village of Eyam, visiting the sights of Bakewell, with time for lunch, a short visit to Monsal Head, viewing the viaduct and rolling hills below, and finally visiting Castleton, with the optional visit to the enormous Peak Cavern, home to rope makers in ancient times. A full day concluded with an excellent view of the ever changing city of Manchester and the setting sun from the High Peaks, arriving back inpatient our starting point shortly before 6pm. An excellent value day well spent.

very relaxing and fun 😊 guide was very nice and a very good story teller ( great singing voice as well) 😊 his sense of humour was hilarious. Highly recommended both the tour and our guide Ritchie 😊

Ritchie was great. The day itself went really well. We got to see a beautiful part of Wales, it was great.
