Everything was great. We were met on time in a good area, for a pleasant ride from an amazing guide. The first winery was a high quality look at a great place for the industry. Then another high quality bus ride over to a smaller winery to experience the beauty of a family winery. Plenty of good wine and great views, qualifying for the price of purchase. I would do the same tour a second time, it was a boom of an experience.

Full description

Meet the guide/driver in the city center, take a seat in a comfortable air-conditioned van, and start to enjoy this relaxed half-day tour in the Valpolicella wine region. During the journey, your guide will tell you about the local wines and the Valpolicella valley. Then, arrive at a beautiful winery, located in the heart of Valpolicella. Here an expert sommelier will show you the wine cellar and explain the secrets of production and show you how the wine is kept. Afterward, sit around the table to taste some chosen wines, including the great Amarone. After taking some beautiful pictures in the gardens and vineyards, get back on board the van and make your way to the second winery for another tasting. After the tasting, you'll head back to Verona.

Our tour guide Sara was very knowledgeable about the city and wine regions (even across the world). She was a very safe driver so we felt comfortable when driving home (a little tipsy). The wine tasting was great value for money and had delicious nibbles to eat. We enjoyed learning about the individual cellars as the representatives were insightful and passionate.
