Enjoy a guided kayak tour to the cliffs of Nerja-Maro-Cerro Gordo to see impressive mountains, secluded coves, and beautiful beaches. Jump into the sea for a swim during your adventure, take memorable photos of your experience. Come to the beach to meet your guide. Then, hop onto your kayak and paddle in the sea. Marvel at the spectacular view of the cliffs, famous for the watchtower built in the 16th century. Choose between a short kayak route and a long route with a better view of the cliffs. The activity is at Maro beach, right next to the waterfall (actually has no water because we have low rain this year), so in just a few minutes you will start enjoying this unparalleled and unique beauty. Bring your own snorkeling gear (if you don't we let you goggles) and stop along the way for a swim. Also, get amazing photos taken by the guide during the tour. Finally, return to the starting point at the beach to finish your experience.

Explore the Cave of Nerja and discover the long history of human inhabitants in the caves. Admire the rock formations before visiting two Andalucian villages, Frigiliana and Nerja. Explore the charming villages and see their beautiful streets and buildings. Begin the tour with a visit to the Nerja Caves, large prehistoric caves with extensive grottoes, archaeological remains, and one of the world's largest columns, rising 105 feet (32 meters) high. Marvel at the cave formations that resemble organ pipes, and learn about the area's evidence of human presence dating back 25,000 years to the Paleolithic Period. Stop in the museum to see the galleries displaying artifacts, paintings, and skeletons unearthed since the caves were discovered in 1959. Leave the caves behind and travel to two beautiful Andalucian villages. Visit Frigiliana, and admire the beauty of its whitewashed houses and cobbled streets. Look at the beautiful flowers and take the chance to taste some of the town's famous sweet wine. Make a stop in Nerja, an old fishing village, and walk through its narrow streets to the Balcony of Europe, and see the Sierra de Almijara, the sea, and Africa if the weather is clear. Stop in Frigiliana, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Malaga, located in the Axarquia Málagueña. Travel down narrow cobbled streets, and look at the nearby houses adorned with flowers.

Be ready for a truly unique experience while you are discovering the amazing Nerja caves. Your ticket to the Cave of Nerja will allow you to take advantage of an audio-guided tour through the different areas. Incredible stalagmites and stalactites will appear during the tour until you reach the Cataclysm room. This is the largest and highest room accessible to the public and it is also here that you will find the largest column in the world, the result of the meeting between a stalactite and a stalagmite. You will be wandering through a natural laboratory rich in archaeological, geological, and biological findings. Since its discovery in 1959, the caves have been the subject of numerous explorations and excavations, currently partly closed to the public in order to preserve them. According to some sources, the paintings present here would be the oldest discovered to date and would date from the time of the Neanderthal man. On top of this underworld exploration, you'll also get to enjoy a visit to the Museum of Nerja to dig deeper into the caves' story and past.

Don't worry if this is the first time you do this excursion, our beach companions will give you the basics for this excursion and so you won't miss any details of the route with places to visit such as: Small virgin caves full of nature, the wolf cave that if the sea allows you can enter without problem and the natural waterfall of Maro, where the beauty of the place will leave you speechless. How much time do I need to see the natural waterfall of Maro? If you are interested in getting to this place, which is one of the best known, your rental should be 3 hours, since it will take approximately two and a half hours between there and back. So you can have time to take a short swim and dive in the water to see the beauty of the seabed. What do I need to bring for the excursion? We recommend that you bring sunscreen, hats and sunglasses. Water is important. What do we do with our belongings? We have free lockers, free dry bags and cell phone cases (5€). When to make a reservation? We recommend that you book your tour in advance to guarantee your place. What happens if the weather is not good? Here it is the sea that rules and we depend on its condition, this can change from one moment to another. If we deem it appropriate, we will cancel your place and provide you with another time or even another day. If you cannot, the reservation will be cancelled without any problem. How far in advance can I cancel my reservation? Please, at least 24 hours before departure, so that we can use your places for other people you are interested in. Where can we meet you? Burriana beach is one of the most popular beaches in our city and is in high demand, so we recommend that you go with enough time to park and arrive 15 minutes before to our office so we can give you all the information and that your rental starts at the reserved time, otherwise minutes will be lost. Suitable for the whole family? Our kayaks will be distributed by our colleagues in the office according to size and weight. Small children can go in the center, but only two people paddle and must take into account that the weight is higher. It is a moment of reflection for you to enjoy with your family. Important: although we provide you with a life jacket, this is not a suitable excursion for non-swimmers. So don't think it twice... It's time to enjoy the best views of Nerja from the sea. La Herradura is considered one of the best places for water sports and activities in Andalucia due to the wide range of different high quality water activities on offer. The village lies in a bay surrounded by mountains, with two hills jutting out into the sea, "La Punta de la Mona" and "Cerro Gordo", which gives the place its horseshoe shape and gives it its name. The beach itself is about 2km long, and is situated on one side with one of the most beautiful marinas of Andalusia "Marina del Este" and on the other side the spectacular Natural Park (marine and terrestrial) "Los Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gorde", which we will visit during the excursion. Sea kayaking is a very safe and rewarding discipline that can be done with family or friends, from almost any age with minimal training. On this excursion we combine kayaking with snorkelling (diving with light equipment). Practically everyone can do it. For beginners we will give an introductory course of the basics, enough to start enjoying this sport. The Natural Park Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo forms a narrow strip parallel to the coast, which is twelve kilometres wide and penetrates one mile into the interior of the sea. Inland it is bounded by the N-340 road. This area is mainly characterised by steep and spectacular cliffs, up to 75 m high, interspersed with beautiful beaches and small coves, the result of marine erosion and regression on the last foothills of the Sierra de Almijara, between the coastal districts of Almuñécar (Granada) and Nerja (Málaga). The area does not reach an altitude of more than 325 metres, and of the total area, 395 hectares are on land and 1,415 in the sea. Maro-Cerro Gordo has a high environmental value, both for the peculiarity of its geological formations and for the great biodiversity it contains, both in its terrestrial area and in the interior of the sea mile. By way of example, the presence of two Andalusian botanical endemisms in danger of extinction stands out. Much more diverse than the land strip is the maritime mile, where caves and steep seabeds give rise to numerous species, both flora and fauna, that populate its seabed. Thus, its marine fauna is a sample of the richness and diversity of the area: invertebrates - sponges, corals, anemones, echinoderms and molluscs - and crustaceans - shrimps, spider crabs and lobsters. Of special importance are the existence of important populations of orange coral, which is a species classified as Vulnerable to Extinction. As for fish, there are abundant bullheads and blennies, moray eels with serpentiform forms and grouper, all of which are the result of the great variety of habitats.

Receive an initiation course during which you will be taught how to move on the paddleboard and how you should use the paddle. A variety of different boards is available, so that your expert guide will be able to provide you with a suitable board. Then paddle from Burriana Beach along the Cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo, all the way to the Maro waterfall and the Acantilado caves. Explore the caves by board but also underwater with your own snorkel equipment (not included). Take in the rock formations as well as the corals and colorful fish. At the end of the tour, you will receive videos and photos taken by a GoPro.

Take a boat out to the dramatic cliffs of Nerja-Maro Cerro Gordo. Learn basic techniques for snorkeling from your guide, and enjoy the freedom of the water with the equipment supplied for your experience. Choose between noon, or 3 PM departure for an afternoon or evening adventure of underwater exploration. Around the cliffs that cut through the water, try exploring some of the caves that pepper the edges of the rock with paddle surfboards. Take in the depths of the water with your guide, who will show you how to use the equipment. Keep memories of the tour with complementary photos and videos of your experience uploaded afterward for you to access. Located in the Axarquia Málagueña, Frigiliana is considered the most beautiful village of Malaga, its narrow cobbled streets and its houses decorated and adorned with bougainvillea, geraniums and jasmine, fall in love at first sight. The historical case of Frigiliana is of Mudejar style and is the most awarded of the Axarquia region. It is undoubtedly one of the places you can not miss on your route through Andalusia. Nerja is one of the most touristic towns in the province of Malaga. If it is for a reason, don't you think? This coastal town can boast of being one of the most beautiful villages in Andalusia. In addition, with the passage of time has not lost a bit of charm. It is full of white houses, has a very well maintained center and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The Balcony of Europe, what a beautiful place, what a view! The Balcón de Europa is a large square overlooking the sea, the cliffs and the beaches of Nerja. The views from this viewpoint are one of the best of the Costa del Sol. Also, from there you can see that the water in this area is incredibly crystal clear blue. I love the view.

Admire the beauty of the Gaitanes Gorge on this day trip from Nerja, Torrox, or Torre del Mar to the Caminito del Rey walkway. Equip yourself with a safety helmet and begin your hiking adventure. Feel the thrill of walking at your own pace above to Guadalhorce River from the north access point and make your way for approximately 2 .5 hours at a gentle pace.  Snap photos of unique canyon landscapes during picture stops along the route. At the end of the hike, take a refreshing break or eat something at the local kiosks at the south access point.  Follow your guide where the bus will pick you up at the meeting point, have time to rest, and return to your pickup point.
