Explore the idyllic Bernese Oberland and magnificent Jungfrau mountain region on a full-day tour from Zurich. The day includes free time to explore the famous mountain resorts of Grindelwald and Interlaken, located between 2 lakes. Journey through the countryside to Interlaken in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. After orientation, continue to Grindelwald, also known as “Glacier Village.” Lookout points provide stunning views of the impressive mountainscape, including the triple peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Take the cable car to the sunny terrace of Mt. First, where you can rent unique and fun Trottibikes to whizz down to town (optional, not included). In the early afternoon, return by train to Interlaken, where you will spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the region’s shopping paradise. Choices on offer include regional produce, precious jewelry, and Swiss watches. If you don’t want to shop, you can visit Interlaken’s Harder Kulm mountain. A funicular will take you to the top for breathtaking views (optional, not included). Take a 30-minute boat cruise on the pristine waters of Lake Zürich, then stroll along the shore to the newly-opened Lindt Home of Chocolate. See the world’s tallest free-standing chocolate fountain and join an audio-guided tour of the museum, followed by an unlimited chocolate tasting. Browse the gift shop before returning to Zurich Main Station. Ride the trolleybus and tramway to get familiar with Zurich's public transportation system. While your tour ends here, your 24-hour ticket allows you to continue exploring the town like a local and make use of public transportation.

Enjoy a 30-minute boat tour to Rhine Falls in Neuhausen am Reinfall. Relax on the boat and admire the landscape and scenery, see if you can spot any wildlife, and listen to the roar of the falls. Float along the calm waters, along the "Rheinish Amazon", all the way up to the German border. Learn about the history of the landscape and the native beaver, and admire the beautiful local scenery. Travel back upstream, where you will experience the thundering Rhine Falls up close as a glorious finale and marvel at one of the most powerful waterfalls in all of Europe. If you are travelling from Schloss Laufen, please allow sufficient time (approx. 15 minutes) for the crossing to Schlössli Wörth. The crossing is included in the ticket price.

Adventure seekers can slide through the snow and down the mountainside on a snow tube – the choice is yours.

Travel out of Zürich for a scenic tour through dramatic natural landscapes and historic landmarks. Come across quaint villages and vast vineyards, and take the lift to the Rhine Falls. Depart Zürich and journey towards the Swiss/German border of northern Switzerland. Travel through a beautiful wine-growing region of charming farming villages and picturesque landscapes en route to Laufen. Look at the half-timber frame townhouses, along with the city gates and towers, the Town Hall, and the Armory. In the winter months, head to see the oldest houses of Switzerland in Werdenberg, which is famous for its beautiful castle. Finally, make the bus trip back to Zurich along the banks of Lake Walen, which is guarded by the majestic Churfirsten mountain range.
