What People Are Saying About Empire State Building

The NYC harbor tour was great and money well-spent.

We'd recommend the New York City harbor tour without reservation. The tour guide was especially enjoyable and witty. There was only shortcoming: I had minor difficulty downloading and printing the ticket voucher beforehand. Also, when I tried to reconfirm the reservation 48 hours in advance -- as suggested -- my phone call to an 800-number was routed to someplace in Europe, which wasn't open. We finally tried a local number, and that worked fine. Overall, though, a fine trip and the chance to take pictures near the Statue of Liberty was a special treat.

Brilliant way to get around the different areas of New York.

Guides on boats were very entertaining and knowledgeable. 9/11 museum was very emotional.

Three things you should NOT miss, when visiting NYC!

The Empire State Building is without a doubt the most prestigious and best known attraction in New York City and it really lives up to this standard. Although you might get trapped waiting in line for a bit, even if you purchase this express ticket, the views from the top absolutely compensate for it (indeed, there are even short lines for the express ticket counter - although much shorter than for the regular tickets!). The Metropolitan Museum is mundane and has an astonishing collection of art that ranges from old Egyptian and pre-historic expositions to Impressionist paintings. You should bring at least a few hours to have a basic overview. In order to go into the details, probably a few weeks would not be enough! However, this is my personal highlight of the city and I see the museum every time I come to New York. Last but not least, New York and particularly Manhattan must be seen from the water, thus a cruise is a must-do!

Great trip... once you could find the boat

Very tricky to find the boat/correct pier even though we arrived in a taxi to the listed pier number. Walked for a long time along a very dodgy and scary walkway (I actually fell and hurt my wrist badly). When eventually we got there it took an age to get the ticket printed and we actually delayed the boat from leaving. Once on-board however the trip was wonderful and the guide was witty and articulate. If the signage/location issues were removed I'd recommend to anyone.

A good trip in generally speaking, everything arranged fine.

It seems that staff whom in imperial building didn't recognize this ticket. The time of city tour has its own schedule, so if it can add more introduction on the web site that would be better. At last, you should bring your ID/Passport and your print version payment certification to get your real ticket or the staff can deny that.
