We were picked up on time by a comfortable minivan at 02:40 am and switched to the Jeep around 20 km before the entrance of Yala. The driver practically flew us to the entrance as he was keen on being one of the first Jeeps in line - and it was worth it: We’ve seen both elephants and a leopard before most others and thus very close :) In the meantime we’ve been kept updated via WhatsApp about further transportation & eating options. The WhatsApp communication was smooth - I booked not even 12 hours in advance and was worried that our booking will be overseen, but if you give your WhatsApp number when booking, (not your Sri Lankan number if it isn’t connected to WhatsApp), you’ll receive confirmations via WhatsApp even in the evening. We were even offered a little breakfast (toast sandwich, banana, pineapple, mini cake & a separately packed sausage) in the Jeep and actually spent 6 hours in the park. Entrance fee is 13k LKR. Drop-Off at next accommodation by a small bus. Great deal!

Very nice, we saw a lot of elephants, a leopard and many birds, monkeys and buffaloes. Our driver was really good and he really tried to make our tour as good as possible and was really nice. I would recommend 10/10!
