The guide was friendly but unfortunately didn't speak English very well, so they didn't talk much. The route was perfectly shown, and on the way back, we even saw a waterfall. We would have liked it a bit better if we'd received some insider information or if more attention had been paid to us on the climb. But all in all, we're satisfied. It was a great view, and the tuk-tuk pickup worked out perfectly, despite the complicated location of our accommodation.

The view was wonderful. Everything else, however, was difficult. When I booked, I specified our hotel, which is 10 km outside of Ella and on a difficult-to-access road. After asking, I received a pick-up time of 5:00 a.m., so it was clear we wouldn't be at the viewpoint for sunrise. We only got water on the mountain after asking the guide three times, and then it was only bottled from a spring. We deliberately decided not to bring our own water. At the viewpoint, the guide was playing loud music, ruining the tranquility. We would have been better off making the climb on our own.
