El Rocío: Doñana National Park 4x4 Guided Tour

El Rocío: Doñana National Park 4x4 Guided Tour

We'll embark on an adventure venturing into the restricted access areas of the northern region of the Doñana National Park. Along this odyssey, we'll traverse diverse Doñana ecosystems, including the regal pine forests of Coto del Rey, the enchanting cork oak groves of Matasgordas, and the expansive marshlands of Hinojos. Our quest will also take us to the Jose Antonio Valverde Visitors' Center, where we'll delve deeper into the local natural wonders. The Doñana expedition offers us a rare opportunity to spot native bird species such as herons, cormorants, seagulls, and avocets. As we shall observe, the marshes along the Guadalquivir River are a thriving ecosystem that nurtures the development of these avian specimens and dozens of other species. Furthermore, we shall have the privilege of observing Doñana's elusive mammals from a distance, including deer, fallow deer, wild boars, foxes, and, of course, the Iberian lynx. Were you aware that this feline is on the brink of extinction? We'll acquaint ourselves with various initiatives dedicated to the preservation of this extraordinary species. Ultimately, after a four-hour expedition, our 4x4 tour of Doñana will conclude as we return to our starting point.

A fantastic day with Diego, our guide, discovering Donaña - the flora and fauna of forest, marshlands and sand dunes in a small group. If you like birds bring your own binoculars, some are provided but they are well used! A really great day out from Sevilla.

Everything was fine. The guide, Luismi, was very pleasant, professional and attentive. The vehicle was very comfortable. The only problem was that they arrived 30 minutes late to the meeting point and did not let us know.

Everything was really great: beautiful sites in Doñana, huge diversity, very interesting information provided by our guide Luis Miguel. I expected more walking than driving but you know these were only my wishes 🤣

Very informative guide, José. Long day but well worth the effort. Professionally run, comfortable transport and good variety.

The guide Juanra was very good, he cared about the group at all times, trying to make sure we enjoyed the excursion.
