Full description
Explore the town of Guatapé and the El Peñol Rock on a full-day tour from Medellín. Enjoy a boat ride on the Guatapé Reservoir, and take in the views from the top of the rock.
Start your day with a hotel pickup in Medellín and head to the town of Guatapé. Stop to enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing to the town.
Upon arrival, take a guided tour of the town and visit the Plaza de los Zócalos. Admire the colorful facades of the houses and learn about the history of the town.
Next, head to the El Peñol Rock and climb the 740 steps to the top. Take in the panoramic views of the surrounding area and the Guatapé Reservoir.
After your visit to the rock, stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Then, head to the Guatapé Reservoir and take a boat ride on the water.
After your boat ride, visit the Replica of the old peñol and the Rock Temple. Finally, return to Medellín and get dropped off at your hotel.
