Learn about the history of Granada on this 3-hour guided tour of the Alhambra and Generalife summer palace. An informative guide will lead you around the vast complex, dating back more than 600 years. Marvel at a magnificent mix of Islamic art and culture. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, the Alhambra was a courtly city where the sultans of the Nasrid Dynasty lived. Amazing day at the Alhambra but sadly let down by the tour company who initially let us down by cancelling the tour guide that we’d paid for. Thankfully they redeemed themselves by arranging another guide but we had to pay a lot more, on top of the already expensive tour, despite the fact it was them they had let us down. Wonderful visit, despite the disappointment, and an absolute must see.

One incredible experience. Our tour guide made an effort to use clear, simple language, ensuring that everyone could easily follow and enjoy the key points of the tour. He also kept things interesting for all of us. His knowledge of Arabic added even more value, as he was able to provide deeper insights into the scripts and religious context throughout the tour.

Good guide who spoke excellent English. All the essentials covered in a few hours. Only bit that could be improved was the ticket collection. Not obvious which guide you were to collect your tickets from but we managed.
