Arrive at the Visitor Center parking lot at least 1 hour before your visit starts. Park and take the shuttle bus to the entrance, which costs €2.50—not included in your ticket. The bus is not operated by Caminito del Rey. The Visitor Center parking is indicated on the map as a meeting point. Ticket validation and your visit occur at the shuttle bus's final stop. If arriving by public transport, you must also take this shuttle bus and proceed to the last stop for entry. Walk and meet your guide at the northern entry point of the Caminito by the ticket office.

- Caminito del Rey is a one-way walkway. Your tour starts at the north entrance (Ardales) and ends at the south entrance, in El Chorro town. A shuttle bus will take you to the starting point, the Visitors' Reception Center
