First you'll head up to the Continental Ice shelter, from where you will start a walk of about 20 minutes to reach the Upsala Lookout Lake, overlooking the mighty William and Eastern front of Upsala Glacier, Southern Ice, Cerros Murallón and Don Bosco.
From here you'll begin the trek to enter the Canyon of the Fossils, which is an area where a high concentration of fossils remains of the last marine ingression and have been exposed by glacial action.
