A good option for anyone looking for some short hikes to see Fitz Roy from across the valley and to see a waterfall. The guide was great and very knowledgeable- spoke in both Spanish and English. We left El Calafate at 8:30 and the bus ride to El Chalten was a little over 2 hrs with a bathroom stop in the middle. The first hike was to Mirador des Condors which is a viewpoint overlooking El Chalten and directly at Fitz Roy. We spent about 30 minutes hiking up and then 45 minutes at the top before hiking down. Then to the waterfall hike (flat 500m to the falls) then we had 90 minutes in town for a late lunch (2:00) before heading back to Calafate. The trip was with Patagonia dreams.
It was a great trip. Great views and a little exercise up to a viewpoint was really great as well. Our guide was super sweet and attentive 🙏🏻
