The tour itself was phenomenal and fun I recommend 1000%. However, Get Your Guide charged too much for it. I found out if you book the same tour when you get there, you would save more than 100 USD by booking and paying in Argentina pesos. There are several travel offices on the main strip of El Calafate selling the same tour for the same price in peso. There is only one authorized company actually operating this tour. All sellers of this tour are just travel agents only.

We had a very good guide. The tour was amazing. Pick up was fine. After an hour and a half busride we had a short boattransfer to the starting point of our trekking. During boatride you have a closer view of the glacier. We walked to our starting point, put the crampons on. And walked on the glacier for 1-1,5 hours. Afterwards we walked through a forest back to the boat. We then made another stop to have a panoramic view of the glacier. You have time to enjoy the Perito Moreno glacier by walking on different platforms. If you want something extra this is the tour to book 🤩.

Absolutely amazing experience - loved walking on the glacier, it was like being on another planet. Our trek guide, German, was brilliant. The tour started around 08:00 in El Calafate - we were picked up from our hostel in a minibus with a really nice guide named Carla. We were driven to the Perito Moreno Glacier park. Carla gave information in both Spanish and English along the way. Upon arrival at the park we paid for our entrance tickets in cash. We then had some free time to explore the boardwalks to view the glacier from a distance. Carla recommended which ones to follow in the time we had available. We had taken a packed lunch and chose to eat this on one of the benches on the boardwalks. We then got picked up in the minibus again and were driven to the port. We boarded a boat with several other groups from different minibuses. We were then divided up on the other side into small groups. We were in the English group with German. He took us on the trek and it was amazing!
