Your tour will begin with a pick up from your hotel in Eilat at 08:30 AM. After crossing the Arava border, you will drive to Wadi Musa Petra and tour the site. After the tour, you will eat lunch in Petra and drive to Wadi Rum and stay overnight at an authentic Bedouin camp. Day 1: Start your tour from Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, or Eilat, depending on the option selected. Cross the border into Jordan and travel to the port city of Aqaba. Once settled into the campsite, head out on a jeep safari tour in the afternoon as the sun begins to set and the air becomes cooler. Hike to the Monastery and explore some lesser-visited parts of the complex. After the final day of sightseeing, travel back to the border and return to your original starting point.

They built water cisterns and collected the water from the flash floods, then went on to sell the water to caravans and merchants. The Nabataens created remarkable facades in the sandstone in the typical Roman architectural manner, the most famous of which is the treasury. Included in your package is an optional horseback ride. Ride for the first 200 meters of the route (tipping the carrier is required, ranging from 2-15 dollars at your discretion) and then continue the tour to see the Roman theater, the facades, the tombs, the cisterns, the crypts, and the temples. After the tour, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Travel back to the Jordan border, and begin our return trip towards the border. This route includes a few stops along the way at specific observation points for you to enjoy the beautiful landscapes that Wadi Ram has to offer.

Day 1: Leaving Eilat, you will head toward the Jordanian border. You will cross via the Arava Border Crossing, entering Jordan through the famous port city of Aqaba. In Aqaba, you will experience a traditional Jordanian brunch that includes hummus, falafel, foul, salads, fresh pita bread, and more. From there you will continue on to take in the exquisite desert landscape at Wadi Rum, which was made famous in the west by the film “Lawrence of Arabia”. You will travel through the vast scenic desert valley on a 4×4 Jeep tour, which will provide you with the best possible experience of this moon-like landscape. Following your Jeep ride, you will make your way to a unique Bedouin experience in the heart of the dunes and cliffs of Wadi Rum. There you will enjoy classic Bedouin hospitality, including a delicious Bedouin-style dinner and a comfortable bed for the night. Before going to sleep, you can sit beneath the clear desert skies and stargaze, as you drink a cup of Bedouin tea. Day 2: Waking up early the next morning, you will have breakfast before boarding the bus and departing for Petra. This day of the trip is focused entirely on Petra, a famous heritage site set in a stunning red sandstone landscape. One of the new Seven Wonders of the World and the highlight of this trip, Petra was once a major crossroads of the ancient Near East, and its Nabataean people flourished through commerce. You will have the whole morning to tour Petra with your guide, before taking a lunch break at a local restaurant. Later in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to explore on your own the various sites, such as the monastery.
