    The tour departs from Eilat and heads towards Petra, crossing the Aravah border along the way.

    Ride through the dusty desert landscapes, and marvel at the vast sandy scenery that stretches out all around you. Follow the scenic route alongside the mountains before arriving at Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Upon arrival, explore the highlights of the site with your expert guide and listen to fascinating stories and legends about the people who once lived here.

    As you amble around, admire the vibrant hues of the rocks from which most of the buildings here were carved, earning Petra the nickname ‘red-rose city.'

    Following your tour, enjoy some free time to wander around the site at your own leisure and focus on the areas that interest you most. After the tour, start the return journey to Eilat in the direction of the port region of Aqaba.

    Along the drive, stop at a selection of observation points to marvel at the breathtaking landscape of the Wadi Rum desert, where the red rocky mountains blend into the sunny horizon.

    • The border fees ($65 USD) and Jordanian visa fees ($60USD if you have not pre-arranged a visa) must be paid on site. USD and Jordanian Dinar are accepted.
    • Modest clothing is recommended (no short skirts, low cut shirts or garment revealing the midriff). Headscarves are not required
    • Suggested tip for group tours to Jordan is $5 per person per day for the driver and guide.
    • Please bring your passport, sunscreen, sunglasses and hat, scarf, ATM card or cash, US Dollars or Jordanian Dinar for tips, and shoes suitable for walking
    • Please arrive at the pickup location 15-minutes prior to the pickup time
    • The local operator is very experienced in handling visitors to Jordan, but small delays can sometimes occur at the border, or other points during the tour

    It was well organiced from the pic up to the border about the help for crossing the border and pic up after the Jordan border. The tourguide was very good in informing us, answering questions and was very friendly. I get the feeling, that he like, what he do. That make the day really to a great experiance. Thank you

    It was an excellent trip. It took too long to get over the border to Jordan. But otherwise it was a great experience. Our guide spoke good English and was very patient with the group. The lunch was perfect to end the trip. The food was excellent. I went back for seconds!! Sandstone restaurant in Petra is 5 stars..

    Very good organization and assistance at the border crossing in Israel and Jordan. Everything went very fast. And the trip to Petra ... waw! Nizar is the best...made all the money. An educated man, with a broad general culture, who presented us all the history of Petra, but also of the Middle East! Everiting is ok!
