Discover the beautiful collection of the Egyptian Museum, including mummies and papyri, at your own pace. Jump the lines to enter, and learn the incredible stories of the ancient times.  Explore a museum founded in 1824, with a set of collections overlapping in time  including the discoveries made as a result of excavations in Egypt by an Italian archaeological mission between 1900 and 1935.  In the year 2015, the Egyptian Museum in Turin reopened its doors to the public after extensive renovation and with a new layout. Among the museum's highlights, take the opportunity to see the spectacular Tomb of Kha, the Statue of Ramesses II, and the Papyrus collection room.

It is advisable to buy the ticket in advance of 5 days (since it is more accessible due to the schedules). You can see the museum in at least 2 hours, but only by viewing and without using the audio guide. The museum has a small cafeteria where it is a bit expensive and they do not allow you to take food or drinks out of the assigned area. It is a great museum, if I remember correctly it is 3-4 floors. It is full of information and it is simply beautiful. I do recommend buying tickets online, since when I went there were a lot of people waiting outside and a guard asking you to take out the voucher / ticker / reservation / ticket to allow you to enter. I recommend that you check the audio guide. That when I did it, it was too late and I hadn't realized it wasn't working. You cannot enter with suitcases or backpacks. I recommend you bring a backpack, since they do not charge you for the locker that is in front of the store (compared to a suitcase; the suitcase they have a specia

Always fascinated by this people, a visit to the Egyptian museum in Turin was an ever-present goal to reach. Exciting visit ... a full immersion in time helped also by the great variety of objects that know how to tell the thought, the uses, the customs, the daily life of a people, and its evolutions over time. excellent selection of exhibits and organization of the finds in the different floors. Ero già stato in passato, mi è piaciuto ancora tantissimo, unica cosa non di mio gradimento è stato il cambiamento di orario spostato un'ora avanti a quella che avevo scelto, quindi 1 ora in meno per la visita prima della chiusura, avevo scelto le 15,40 perchè ritenevo che andando all'ora di chiusura di vedere senza fretta tutto, invece sul biglietto che mi è stato fornito aveva le 16,40, questo mi ha deluso, se decidete voi in base ai visitatori non fate scegliere gli orari ai visitatori al momento della prenotazione, questo era l'unico problema il resto tutto bene.
