Full description

Head for the Highlands, whether in search of the Loch Ness Monster or just a scenic day trip from Edinburgh. After pickup, relax on the bus and listen to the guide’s entertaining commentary.

Visit Kilmahog for an introduction to the famous Highland Cows and a cup of coffee. Discover what a ‘hairy coo’ really is. Next, travel up the road to Glencoe and enjoy a 10-minute photo stop in front of the unforgettable Highland views.

Have lunch in the Fort William area, where your guide can advise you on where to eat. If you're interested in the mysteries of the kilt, you can even get a ‘wee’ kilt introduction here. Then be whisked to Loch Ness itself.

Customize your experience at Loch Ness. Choose to visit the majestic Urquhart Castle, and hop on a boat in search of ‘Nessie’, as the locals call it. Or simply hang out on the pier and grab a coffee with gorgeous views.

On the way home, make a short snack stop in Pitlochry, a beautiful village in the heart of the country, before returning to Edinburgh.

Had great time in this tour!! Definitely worth it. Our guide John was amazing. Pick-up & drop-off point was conveniently located. Despite covering 400+ miles I did not feel tired after the trip, the journey was very comfortable. In terms of areas covered; I am not an expert on Scotland and it’s history, hence don’t know much about must-see places. What I can say about coverage of the tour is, I do not think you can do more in a day. Historical places, towns, buildings, remnants of old forts, etc. were covered verbally by the guide even we did not stop at each. Overall it was a good experience and fun trip. Highly recommend if you have just few days in Scotland.

The day was nice but there was times that the driver told the passengers to stop talking because he was telling us something from the history of that place. I understand that it was a part of the tour but there was no need for the attitude of the assistant driver. Not everyone likes to hear about history or important figures, some just like to see the landscape and views. I like History but the attitude of the assistant driver was unnecessary

Wonderful experience! Tour guide Ross was amazing and super friendly! Explained a lot of history and details while passing by historic locations. The only thing is that most of the important things and knowledge the tour guide shares are during the morning. So try to stay awake during the morning to not miss out on anything. Then you can rest after lunch until the castle and Loch Ness. But it was amazing! One of the best I have done!
