Our guide, Adam, was exceptional. His knowledge of each specific tour experience was very good. I would do a tour with him again!
What a great tour! Kevin was our guide. Kind, helpful, kept us on track, was patient, interactive, knowledgeable, humorous, safe, and an overall pleasure! His guidance made the trip so much more! We packed so much in 5 days!!! My highlights… Berwick- walled town and beautiful Bamburgh castle- amazing history York- could’ve stayed for days. Walk the wall, visit the Shambles, talk to the friendly people from there. The Dales are spectacular and pictures do not do it justice. Keswick- touristy town w old shops and great food. Hadrians wall and Vindolanda- amazing history and natural beauty. My suggestions. -A lot of riding between places… was to be expected. Make sure you walk! -Robin Hoods Bay has a steep road. Steep. Very tough getting back up. (And I can handle hikes) Think about just having fish/chips at the fish box part way down. -Windermere boat ride was ok but took time away from the town. I’d skip if I could go back. Do it. You won’t regret it!

Important information
Know before you go
- A maximum of 16 passengers makes a big difference to your trip. It means you get a more personal service.
- There is time off the bus and opportunities to take nature walks, it is recommended you bring suitable clothing and footwear for your tour.
- Accommodation: Choose from a selection of small, locally owned guesthouses and B&B's. All rooms are en suite. B&Bs tend to be located on the outskirts of towns and you should be prepared for a 20-30 minute walk to local facilities like pubs and restaurants. If you have difficulty with stairs, please mention it to us as lifts will not be available in this type of property.
- Minimum age to participate is 5 years.
- *Robin Hood's Bay - The mini-coach cannot access the main village because of local restrictions. The coach will drop you off at the top of the village and you must walk down (and back up!) a steep hill to reach the old village centre.
