A must do when in Edinburgh, the staff were very friendly and professional and a glimpse of the past of the royal family, and the crew of Brittannia, Just a note the entrance is through the shopping centre on the second floor and the tea room is worth a visit to rest your legs, and give yourself a bit more time as it gets very absorbing and the time flies.

Went as a family and with discounts it was £49 all in. Arrived at the Ocean Terminal Mall where parking was, refreshingly, free. Access to the Yacht is via the Mall. Dead easy to access the yacht and would even suit some with mobility problems. No internal stairs are used on the yacht - an external elevator lets you access at any level you please. About 4 decks to explore. Lots of royal memorabilia if you are into that but most of it from the 80’s/90’s - very little more recent than that. Boat is interesting from an engineering and historical perspective although I doubt this boat would be deemed luxurious by modern standards. A free audio guide available too and COVID mitigations didn’t really detract from the experience at all which was great. Worth seeing and across the bridge and within seconds you are back in the ultra Modern Ocean Terminal Mall which had loads of nice places to eat and shop. Look out for the Leith Collective store - arts, crafts and tasteful textiles.

Very warm welcome, plenty staff to guide you along and keep you right. Easy to socially distance. Very informative information and interesting too. My 12 year old grandson had an adult handset and enjoyed it too. He also had fun counting the carefully placed toy corgis to try to win a prize draw. Also visited the tea room. The chocolate fudge cake was delicious. Very pleasant couple of hours
