Set in 82 acres of sloping parkland, you’ll meet over 2,500 amazing animals from around the globe and learn about the challenges they face in the wild. Get closer than ever to animals including Sumatran tigers, three different species of penguins and cheeky meerkats. Take some time to see if you can spot our famous King penguin - Sir Nils Olav! Immerse yourself in the dinosaur walk-through exhibition and see prehistoric beasts come to life around you against the backdrop of Scotland’s capital. Finally, explore the children’s play areas, restaurants, and picnic spots. Learn fun facts and ask questions about your favourite animals with our daily keeper talks.
