Full description

Head for the Highlands, whether in search of the Loch Ness Monster or just a scenic day trip from Edinburgh. After pickup, relax on your group’s bus and listen to the guide’s entertaining commentary.

Visit Kilmahog for an introduction to the famous Highland Cows and a cup of coffee. Discover what a ‘hairy coo’ really is. Next, travel up the road to Glencoe and enjoy a 10-minute photo stop in front of the unforgettable Highland views.

Have lunch in Fort William, where your guide can advise you on where to eat. If you're interested in the mysteries of the kilt, you can even get a ‘wee’ kilt introduction here. Then be whisked to Loch Ness itself.

Customize your experience at Loch Ness with personal touches. Visit the majestic Urquhart Castle, and hop on a boat in search of ‘Nessie’, as the locals call it. Or simply hang out on the pier and grab a coffee with gorgeous views.

On the way home, make a short snack stop in Pitlochry, a beautiful village in the heart of the country, before returning to Edinburgh.

The tour was good, Ronny was funny and we got there safely thanks to our driver Adam. It felt quite rushed though at the Urquhart Castle, we weren’t there for an hour even. One area to improve on is to have a ‘no seat change policy’ during the tour. You’d think people would understand this already but unfortunately common sense isn’t so common. Several passengers along with ourselves were displaced during the tour. Basically, the seats you choose at the start of the tour should be your seats for the remainder of the tour - no exceptions! Sadly this wasn’t strongly implemented as it should’ve been. Other than that, good value for money and can recommend this tour.

I had the most amazing experience thanks to Paul/Paulo/Santa Paul and the driver Graham. Paul was so entertaining, informative and funny. The bus was a tough crowd to begin with, but Paul won everyone’s heart with his enthusiasm, bubbly personality and energy. He taught us lots about Scottish history and everyone got involved. We even learnt a bit of Gaelic!!! The views were breathtaking and we took lots of amazing photos, even though it rained a lot on the day. The cafes we stopped at were reasonable priced with clean toilets!!!. We didn’t see Nessie though, but I’m sure she was just a little shy Graham glided along the roads making the ride smooth and comfortable. A highly recommended, unforgettable day and make sure you ask for Paul E and Graham if you want a day to remember. Thanks Paul and Graham… from Matilda

We had a really enjoyable tour thanks to Paul E with his entertaining personality and driver Graham. They provided a great service considering I was apprehensive about attending a 12 hour tour. Overall most of the tour was driving up to the highlands, but the views are breath taking and absolutely worth it. We took the optional boat tour which was beautiful and a well spent one hour.
