Our host/guide Ally was extreamly informative and knowledgeable throughout the tour. It was interactive in a sense that whilst exploring the vaults I believe even those who dont believe in ghosts will still come away feeling like they saw or felt something. Those who are interested in history or are just simply curious to see and know what is hidden beneath the streets of Edinburgh old town wont be disappointed. Personally, I wouldnt say it was a terror tour but rather spooky, it did leave my group a bit jumpy for the past few days. I highly recommend and would do it again myself.

This was my first time experiencing the vaults (10pm slot) and I was NOT disappointed!! James who was our tour guide and has only been with the company for 1 month did an absolutely fantastic job! Providing haunting and gory details about the history of Edinburgh, interacting with the group and ensuring we were safe in our journey to and within the vaults. I even learned a few ‘fun (gory) facts’ about Edinburgh even though I am from the city!! I would highly recommend to anyone who loves a bit of ghostly adventures or would like to learn some history on the city! Great job James!!

This tour was very spooky and thoroughly entertaining! Our guide Darren kept the mood light and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the tour. He was very well informed and it was interesting to hear about some of Edinburgh’s dark history, as well as the history of the underground vaults. Would recommend as long as you don’t get scared too easily!
