A modern distillery in the heart of historic Edinburgh, Holyrood Distillery is inspired by its surroundings, never afraid to experiment, and dedicated to shaping the spirit of tomorrow. Our guided experience allows you to discover how gin and whisky are created, as well as the traditions and innovative new methods in craft distilling. This is a hands-on sensory experience, taking in the sights of the gin and whisky distillery, with opportunities for tasting and nosing throughout. At the conclusion of the tour, you have the opportunity to purchase additional spirits to enjoy at your leisure, with a full introduction by a member of the distillery's passionate team.

It was a very interesting tour. They guided us through every step of the process and answered all of our questions. The samples we got to taste were great. Although, the best thing is the bar within the building where we could hang out and drink some of their creations. Height of Arrows gin is definitely my new favourite!

Super fun tour! Very diverse audience that was well responded to. Very cool to see such a young distillery doing so many cool things. Guide was also enthusiastic and went well with the group, makes jokes, but can also explain the more difficult things well. Really recommended!

The guide was very knowledgeable and was definitely involved in production (but clearly chosen as tour guide for his communicative skills). Whisky will be available in October 2023, but the current (not yet) Whisky already tastes very good (peated- and sherry-flavor). A nice in-depth view into whisky-production close to the actual stills and vessels. I prefer this tour to a pure tasting
