The tour was a real treat. The tour guide was super friendly and you could feel his enthusiasm for the city, the history and the food. Because I was alone on the tour, it was very personal, but it wasn't uncomfortable. He had previously asked me if he should otherwise call a few people who would come with me if I felt uncomfortable about it. I found that very considerate and friendly. The dishes were great - if I didn't like something (haggis) it wasn't taken as an insult. You have the opportunity to buy whiskey, sweet, savory etc. during the tour. You can also get good recommendations for restaurants. In the end, the tour guide also wrote down great places to go, for example book shops, when he asked if he could give me any tips, places, etc. or if he could answer any questions. At any time you had the opportunity to drink water - very attentive.

Good Food Tour with History Included

We had a very nice food walking tour of Edinburgh. The trip to the roof of the museum was nice and allowed a great view. The different stops were quite good, and we got plenty to eat. It contains some classic dishes of Scotland, but that is great for those of us that have never had these foods. A lovely day!!
