During our time in Scotland this was probably the activity we enjoyed most. We got to see the Scottish countryside while learning about its history from our amazing guide Jim Scott. Jim was knowledgeable and oh so entertaining. He really made the trip! We loved the whiskey but also really enjoyed our other stops—to see the Kelpies and the UNESCO World Heritage Bridge. Truly a day to remember!!

really nice day tour, two whiskey distilleries and a lovely lunch stop. Check the prices for tastings to avoid surprises, it will add to your bill. 1x 16£ and1x 8.50£ pp. Buying whisky at the distillery will give a 5£ discount. The lunch stop is short, so better order quickly. Tour gives a nice first impression of the highlands. We arrived 1 h earlier back in Edinburgh then originally planned, so we could have had plenty of time for a longer stroll at Loch Lomond to explore. Or maybe another place to visit.

This day tour was great. It was our first time in Scotland and we wanted to see the landscape. What a happy coincidence that we also like to drink whiskey. So this tour was perfect for us. The Guide Mark brought us closer to the country and its people with many facts and stories. His knowledge ranged from current facts to the sagas and history of Scotland. He spoke very clearly and slowly, so that one could also follow him as a guest who did not speak English well. The goals of the tour were as described and you had enough time to stay in the distilleries. The tours of both distilleries were well organized and you got a first glimpse of Scotland's export whiskey.
