Full description

Head for the Highlands, whether in search of the Loch Ness Monster or just a scenic day trip from Edinburgh. After pickup from the meeting point, relax on your group’s bus and listen to the guide’s entertaining commentary.

Your first stop is Kilmahog for an introduction to the famous Highland Cows and a cup of coffee. If you’ve ever asked yourself what a ‘hairy coo’ is, this is a real treat.

Next, travel up the road to Glencoe. Enjoy a 10-minute photo stop here as the unforgettable Highland views wow you.

Lunch is then in Fort William, where your guide can advise you on where’s best to eat. If interested in the mysteries of the kilt, you can even get a ‘wee’ kilt introduction here. Then be whisked to Loch Ness itself.

Best of all, customize your experience at Loch Ness with personal touches. Visit the majestic Urquhart Castle, and hop on a boat in search of ‘Nessie’, as the locals fondly call it. Or simply hang out on the pier and grab a coffee with some views.

On the way home, make a short snack stop in Pitlochry, a beautiful village in the heart of the country, before returning to Edinburgh.

This Loch Ness and Highlands tour surpassed all expectations mainly due to guide and driver David and Kenny. When we booked it we expected a comfortable coach, skilled driver/knowledgable guide and terrific scenery, and we certainly weren’t disappointed with anything. What we hadn’t reckoned on, was the warmth, friendliness and humour of David and Kenny. You are both an amazing and special pair and so deserved those 3 hearty cheers at the end of the tour, as you both worked so hard and successfully together giving us all a truly memorable day. Will happily recommend you two guys and hope to travel with you again.

Really good your with a great host. It’s a long day but worth it to see a lot of Scotland. Only thing that I would’ve hoped for is a toilet on the coach. Pickup location was good at the end of the royal mile by the castle. Most the journey commentary was provided which was very insightful. Can’t remember our guides name but he was very good. All in all I would so that people looking to see rural Scotland and learn some history this tour is great.

The trip was awesome although i didnt expect it to be a big group. The last time i did this tour we wer just a small group. so we have all the time to go around. having a big group in a lunch stop is really hard due to long lines. My partner and I didnt had a proper breakfast and lunch as we had to queue to a very long line and didnt have enough time to eat and buy souvenirs. (that was breakfast) during lunch.. We missed lunch again as we again queued almost 4th to the last then by the time we are able settle and waiting for our lunch, the nevir place messed up our orders and by that time we had to go back to the bus missing our lunch. we wer able to had a bar of chocolate and cup of coffee while on the lochness cruise. we didnt enjoy much as we did the trip very hungry. we should have brought food along.
