Jonny was fantastic! We had a rocky start to Durban and quite a few scare mongers so we thought we’d book this walking tour. Jonny took us around in local transport to ensure we had the local experience, he explained the history across SA and Durban in much detail. Jonny also ensured we met locals and gave us a heads up on what to expect when visiting some of the places on the itinerary. The markets can look quite overwhelming to a tourist but what was great is that Jonny had built up a network so not only were we 100% safe there, everyone welcomed us with open arms. Whilst on the tour we just happened to be walking past a mosque which my friend and I expressed interest in. While we took a few pictures on the outside Jonny went and organised an off the cuff tour with the local iman for us. We finished the tour by the beach with a popular Durban dish called the Bunny Chow. It was absolutely delicious and worth having. Make sure you eat with your hands to get the fill taste.

This was amazing! Guide Johnny is an expert knowing all the interesting corners of the city and due to his heritage he is familiar with almost all of the many different cultures within Durban City. The local market and the ride on the local minivans made me feel like a local and this was way far off the track usual tourists would go. Felt like an insight into true african culture. Definitely a lifetime experience. Would 100% recommend to do this for everybody visiting Durban!

The day offers a really good overview of the city - out guides were fantastic and very friendly. They offered a lot of information and answered our many questions - actively seeking out experts for us at the different stops. Can definitely recommend

Staff was friendly and accommodating. A simple cruise out of the harbour and back, perfect for the older and extremely young. They offer other packages but this was perfect for our needs.

everything was excellent. our guide explains everything and he had a good attitude
