I don't know how to say that the tour felt like heaven. the guide is friendly good with people easy to get along with.hes a God sent he made me feel welcome the whole tour was like a VIP experience. I ve toured before but with these trip it's a wow wow all thanks to my best Tour guide or should I perhaps say my personal Tour guide🥳🥳Buleh is so phenomenal I wish other tour company's should has people like him.see u again Zulu safari. I can even write a book about his service. he's the whole vibe.

Our guide Bongani and driver Tony were exceptional. They gave us a fascinating overview of Durban and it's people. 4* for transportation because the van was crowded with 12 people. No fault of Bongani and Tony.

Full description

The tour starts at Gandhi’s house, situated in Inanda township, now stands as a museum dedicated to his 21 years in South Africa. Gandhi himself said, South Africa was essential to his personal achievements. The racial oppression he felt during the 21 years he spent in South Africa shaped his future. In 1904 Mahatma Gandhi established a settlement at Phoenix devoted to his principles of Satyagraha [passive resistance] and printed his newspaper, the Indian Opinion was printed. After Gandhi’s home, the tour will then include a drive through Inanda Township before progressing to Umhlanga Promenade and the pier.

Then we go to the Golden Mile where you will visit Durban's famous beaches and proceeds to Moses Mabhida Stadium to see one of Africa's beautiful stadiums. The tour will then head to Durban Botanic Gardens to see the city's beautiful garden with different plant species from around the world before visiting the Victoria Street Market to see Durban's exotic spices and Indian cuisines. You will then proceed to one of the largest mosques in Southern Africa which is the Juma Masjid Mosque before visiting the neo-baroque style architecture City Hall which was built in the early 1900s.

Lastly, visiting Ushaka Marine World, which has the largest aquarium in Southern Africa.

I had the best time on this tour with Freddy!! This tour is very complete and you will see everything there is to see in Durban. But what made this tour really great was Freddy, who is an excellent tour guide who knows a lot of information, and has a great energy! I felt safe at all times, even when we were in busier areas, which was important to me as I am a single female traveler. I enjoyed the tour so much that I booked a second one!
