Full description

Your day of adventure starts early, with hotel pickup in Dumaguete or the surrounding area. Board a banca boat and set sail for Bais, keeping an eye out for wild dolphins jumping up and down through the water. You might have the chance to see species such as pantropical spotted dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and long-snouted spinner dolphins.

After your dolphin watching experience, continue to the famous Manjuyod Sandbar, where you can swim, sunbathe, and walk along the soft sands. The sandbar is known for its beautiful surroundings and crystal clear waters. Stroll around the island to see traditional wooden houses and admire the stunning landscape. 

Get back on the boat to enjoy a delicious local lunch of mixed seafood, meat and rice. After a day filled with nature and exploration, you will be dropped off at your accommodation by approximately 4:30 PM.

This tour was amazing from start to finish! It was just me and a friend, and we had a private boat all to ourselves — definitely worth it. The driver picked us up at 6am from our hotel and stayed in touch on WhatsApp, which made things super easy. Everything was really organized, and we felt taken care of the whole time. The boatmen were super kind and spoke English well. And best part is we spent so much time chasing the dolphins and got to see them up close!!! We had total freedom to decide what to do and when to do it, whether hanging w dolphins or at the sandbar or just eating. Lunch was also a highlight — we had crabs, shrimp, veggies, and even bought fresh oysters and sea urchins from vendors at the sandbar. Everything was fresh and tasted incredible. There was no rushing, and the whole day felt relaxed. Honestly, if you want a hassle-free way to see the sandbar and dolphins, I highly recommend booking a private tour with this agency. It’s totally worth it!
