Super handy card that really helps you when it rains or when you have less mobility. In addition, it is certainly worth it for all the discount promotions! It was just confusing how exactly you use the card in public transport.

POSITIVE: Good value for money. NEGATIVE: Due to the Corona 2G rule, the tourist information was closed at short notice. I got advice there the day before and wanted to buy the ticket. You didn't even know about the tourist card at your point of sale in the main train station? After further research I bought this online.

The tourist card is very useful for public transport in the Dusseldorf area, unlimited travel on bus, tram, underground and train within the city. It also entitles you to discounted entry to many public attractions but I didn't use it for this purpose. As in many European cities, the transport runs on trust but if you get caught without a ticket, the penalties are high so this card takes away any hassle of trying to buy tickets on the run.
