Full description
This Dubrovnik Sea Kayaking Tour begins with a safety briefing at the park below Pile Gate before you head off with your guide across the channel and around the cursed Island of Lokrum. You’ll make several stops at points of interest along the way. On the 2.5-3 hour tour you’ll be accompanied by a guide that speaks excellent English and is very familiar with the coastline around Dubrovnik. Learn about the curse of the island and the history of Dubrovnik, previously known as Ragusa. Stop at one of the only hotels that was not rebuilt after the war. The hotel was the site of hand-to-hand combat between the Serbian and Montenegrin armies and the Dubrovnik defenders during the war. Spend around 30 minutes at the only beach in Dubrovnik that’s not accessible on foot, and explore a fascinating cave. You can swim, snorkel, explore the cave, relax, eat, or sunbathe. Later you'll continue back along the coastline of Dubrovnik and see the area’s Beverly Hills. This tour will gives you the opportunity to take in Dubrovnik from the seaside, capture some amazing shots of the outer walls, and hear a bit about the history of this legendary city.

This tour was just amazing! Even though we had no kajaking experience, it was so much fun. The crew Teo, Majda and Nikola are so nice and funny. They told us a lot about the history of Dubrovnik and also some insider news. We would definitely recommend it and join the tour again as soon as we are back in this beautiful city!

A great way to see the area surrounding Dubrovnik! Our guide, Dennis, was knowledgeable and fun - he added a lot to the experience with his commentary and explanations. We saw the walls of the city from the sea which added a sense of sheer massive scale to old town, and on our trip we saw caves, went swimming (scuba masks provided), learned the lore of local islands. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a little adventure and isn't afraid of working for it.

Really fun! Guide was informative and knew everything about Dubrovnik. We thought it would be a lot harder to do but got plenty of time to rest at stops and had about half an hour to swim at a beach on the edge of a cave. It was still early in the year so they let us use wetsuits and swimming was optional. Sandwiches were really tasty. Unforgettable. Would do it again.
