Full description
Your sightseeing starts as soon as you depart from Dubrovnik when your tour takes a short break on the Dubrovnik Bridge for a scenic view of the town. You will then continue along the Adriatic Coast, learning about various points of interest along the route. When you reach Ston you will enjoy sightseeing and free time. Ston is famous for its old salt flats and for having the second longest city walls in the world (after the Chinese walls). After sightseeing free time, the tour continues towards Orebić. Along the way, you will take in the panoramic scenery of the famous vineyards of Peljesac peninsula. Discover beautiful countryside and old settlements while listening to commentary on the wineries of Peljesac and on the area's mussel-breeding. In Orebić the tour boards the boat to Korčula. The island of Korčula presents a unique contact with the beautiful nature, and a thousand-year-old cultural tradition and history. You will have an opportunity to visit the birth house of Marco Polo, the church of St. Marco and many other monuments. Return to Orebić by boat and proceed to Potomje. Upon arrival in Potomje you will visit one of the most famous Croatian wineries. Your tasting will include famous wines as well as domestic brandy and liquors in the company of an expert from the winery. The tour returns to Dubrovnik in the afternoon.

A nice time

The tour was advertised as 12 hours, but I was dropped off at around 10 hours, 15 minutes, which means we might have spent more than just one hour in Ston, which is not much time to see the famous City Walls, etc. Korcula and the wine tasting were fun though. And, my reservation said I would be picked up at my guesthouse, but I was notified one day before that I would need to go to a larger hotel 10 minutes walk from my guesthouse, on a busy road with no sidewalks.

We picked up a van for 6 pax. the guide (Drazan) super friendly and telling us a lot of things while, the stops were: Ston: they impress their walls that unfortunately we didn't have time to see inside and the salt flats, then van again seeing the Panoramas of the Pelješac peninsula Very beautiful and interesting stories, to take a taxi board to the island of Korčula: go up to the bell tower and enjoy the city of Marco Polo and take a dip in a cove, taxi board again to take the van and go to do a tasting of local wines in Potomje: it is interesting although I keep the wines of Spain :) After the wines we went to an oyster and mussel farm that we bought and we were lucky to try direct water, this experience and what surrounds it thus as the endearing marriage that runs it was the best (believe me it is worth seeing). Good company, driver / guide of 10 and an excursion that takes you into the culture of the area. Recommendable.

All very well, although I would have loved to have more time in Stom, only 40 minutes are not enough to be able to admire the second longest walls of the world after the Chinese Wall, nor of the town, it is barely enough time to go to the bathroom and take a refreshment.
