Departing from Dubrovnik in the morning enjoy the sights of the Old Town and its surroundings while driving through the beautiful Župa Dubrovačka and the Konavle region. After crossing the Montenegro border, continue along the picturesque Montenegro coast. During the drive through Boka Kotorska Bay, stop at the charming town of Perast. During the drive, your host will tell you all about Montenegro's most important cultural monuments, and about the country's history and legends. • From Dubrovnik: Montenegro Tour with Cruise in Kotor Bay

    2. From Dubrovnik: Montenegro Tour with Cruise in Kotor Bay

Start your tour with complimentary pick-up from your hotel or nearest possible location to your accommodation in Dubrovnik from 07:00 AM to 07:45 AM. Once everyone has been picked up, drive by bus or van to the Croatian/Montenegrin border crossing. After border control is done, enjoy a coffee break, at your own expense, before heading to the port, where you will embark on a boat to start your adventure. The boat will first take you to the artificial island of Our Lady of the Rocks to visit the beautiful monument in the heart of the bay. From there, proceed to the old town of Kotor, the most important Venetian port built on this side of the Adriatic coast with impressive 4.5-kilometer long city walls, that have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. Kotor is unique for several reasons. It is located on the only natural fjord of its kind in the world. Visiting Kotor is about m...

The bay of Kotor and the cities of Perast and Kotor are wonderful - well worth the trip! It's a long day, and the border crossings make it longer, but I do recommend this excursion.

  • Mostar & Kravica Waterfall: Small Group Tour from Dubrovnik

    3. Mostar & Kravica Waterfall: Small Group Tour from Dubrovnik

Depart Dubrovnik and journey in a small group to the border of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Continue to the small coastal town of Neum, admiring the pretty scenery of the Adriatic coast along the way. Make your way to the Kravica Waterfalls complex to see the amazing tufa cascades of the River Trebižat drop 25 meters through the lush green forest. In the springtime the force of the water can be truly dramatic, whilst in the summer and fall the pools become shallow enough for a refreshing swim. Next, drive to the historic city of Mostar to explore the old town and see the famous Old Bridge over the Neretva River. Take a short walking tour with a local guide and learn more about the town and its monuments. Benefit from some free time to explore on your own and enjoy a local meal. Travel back to Dubrovnik and get dropped off at your pick-up point.

This is a long tour = 12 hour day. Mostar can be hot in summer. Maria the tour guide does a great job with Dubrovnik Select Tours. Bus tends to be small, not so comfortable for long rides, but good value overall.

  • Dubrovnik: Half-Day Cave and Beach Tour with Lunch

    4. Dubrovnik: Half-Day Cave and Beach Tour with Lunch

Admire beautiful caves and the stunning sea on a 4-hour journey from Dubrovnik around Croatia's coast aboard a boat. Relax and enjoy drinks as you admire panoramic views of Croatia, picturesque caves, and beaches. Stop at the famous Blue Cave where you can jump into the water to swim or snorkel. Next, visit three more caves before relaxing on Šunj's sandy beach for an hour — one of the most famous beaches in the Dubrovnik region. Explore the open decks that allow you to feel the cooling sea breeze and while enjoying the striking blue waters of the sea that provide perfect photo opportunities.

Great time with a small group of strangers. A short trip around Kolocep island to explore caves. The first trio of caves is riveting, with the first one giving you an adrenaline rush, a little bit of danger but all worthy when you need Instagram material. Visiting the sandy beach comes in as a second stop and followed by the blue/green cave as your last stop. There are unlimited water and soft drinks, and the lunch for the day is a school sandwich. I advise using the sandy beach visit to get some čevapi or fried squid at the beach bar.

Enjoy some free time to explore the monuments of the Old Town. Board the boat again and sail to the small town of Perast. Visit the artificial island of Our Lady of the Rocks on arrival, and get some free time for lunch in the beautiful town center. Stroll the streets to find Baroque palaces, Orthodox monuments and other UNESCO World Heritage monuments at your own pace. Marvel at the stone defense towers that remain untouched by modern-day tourism, and follow in the footsteps of Russian czars and Venetian princes who sailed in Kotor Bay in days gone by. This was an amazing day trip. Perast is stunning and we loved the boat ride to Kotor. Definitely recommend if you have a little extra time in Croatia.

  • Elaphite Islands Day Trip with Lunch from Dubrovnik

    6. Elaphite Islands Day Trip with Lunch from Dubrovnik

Your day tour begins with a drive to the port of Gruž, where you’ll board a boat for the excursion to the islands of Koločep, Lopud, and Šipan in the Dubrovnik archipelago. You’ll head to the Elaphiti islands, admiring the beauty of the marine environment. When you arrive at Koločep, you’ll have free time for sightseeing and a chance to explore the island. The next stop is Sipan, where you can enjoy a pleasant walk around the island. When you’re back on board, the boat will head toward the island of Lopud. It’s time for lunch on board! You can choose from 3 menu options: fish, meat, or vegetarian. After lunch you’ll visit the island of Lopud. You can spend your time sightseeing, swimming or relaxing on Šunj Beach.

Trip is good. Food is good (Fish and Veggie). My only problem to not give 5 stars is the punctuality of the pickup and sailing time. Picked up around 9 and sail start around 10. So we kinda need to wait for an hour so.

  • Mostar Full-Day Trip from Dubrovnik

The trip was so good! The organisers were super accommodating with pick ups and on time. We didn’t have any trouble getting through the borders. You go first to the waterfalls which a beautiful I think entry to that was 80kunas then we drove to Mostar. The walking tour there was ok. You go to another small town on your way back. Throughout the drive the driver is telling you all about the areas you are driving through which was great as we learnt so much

  • Dubrovnik: Kravica Waterfalls and Mostar Day Trip

    8. Dubrovnik: Kravica Waterfalls and Mostar Day Trip

Start your journey in Dubrovnik and enjoy a less than 2-hour drive with your English-speaking driver. Discover the scenic routes of Croatia and across the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina. First, stop at the Kravica falls, one of the best-kept secrets of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The falls created by the river Trebizat provide a relaxing background for swimming and picnics in summer. Then, continue to your next stop, the city of Mostar. Join your local guide for a tour of the narrow cobblestone streets of the old town. Then marvel at the Old Bridge that crosses the river Neretva. Finally, stop at the medieval town of Počitelj, before going back to Dubrovnik.

We were picked up from the hotel. The ride was comfortable and the driver Luka was wonderful. It was like a mini tour along the way during the drive. In Mostar Irfaan, our local guide, explained us about the history of the place and showed us the beautiful city. On our way back we stopped at the Kravice waterfall. Very serene and beautiful. Not many tourists.Overall a very memorable trip and highly recommended to anyone travelling to Croatia.

  • Dubrovnik Full-Day Tour from Split or Trogir

    9. Dubrovnik Full-Day Tour from Split or Trogir

Explore the walled Old Town of Dubrovnik and learn about the maritime Republic of Ragusa on a guided tour of the monuments of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire Renaissance and Baroque architecture within the 2-kilometer long defensive walls and stroll down the central Stradun. See one of the oldest pharmacies in the world at the Franciscan Church and Monastery and visit the Rector's Palace and Fort Lovrijenac. Get ample photo opportunities on the pedestrianized streets, and use your free time to take the cable car to the top of Srđ Hill. Take in the magnificent views of Dubrovnik and the archipelago, or stroll around the Old Town at leisure.

The day trip from Split to Dubrovnik was a joy. Dubrovnik is a gorgeous place, which can easily get overcrowded, due to its small size (the Old Town). Even in mid September, it was hot. The Old Town can be enjoyed from the city walls, but this requires a good shape, since it is quite a hike. The cable car ride is very much worth it also. The view from the mountain is amazing. The road trip from Split is also beautiful, especially the second part, as the Dubrovnik area looks amazing. I found the guided tour part too long (1 hour), as a lot of information is available and can be read by those interested. After that I had to run from one place to another in the remaining 3 hours, and I had not enough time left to enjoy a proper lunch, all the more that most places were crowded. Overall, given the context, the trip with Gray Lines was excellent, well organized, in A/C minivans (participants were split in 2 smaller groups). Border crossing went smoothly.

  • Dubrovnik: Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls Full-Day Group Tour

    10. Dubrovnik: Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls Full-Day Group Tour

Following pick-up from your hotel or apartment, depart Dubrovnik and travel by air-conditioned vehicle along the beautiful coast of Croatia. Head north along the coastal road and pass the pretty seaside villages of the Adriatic Sea. Get panoramic views of the Elaphiti Islands and stop for a coffee in the town of Neum. Wander the cobblestone streets of the bazaar on arrival and experience the city's multi-cultural and multi-faith vibe on almost every corner. Admire the slender minarets of the Middle Mosque and the ornate wooden balconies of the everyday houses. Enjoy some authentic food in one of the local restaurants before making your way to the Kravice Waterfalls. Marvel at the tufa cascades of the Trebižat River, and then depart In the late afternoon for the return trip to Dubrovnik.

Our guide was amazing, so much better to leave early on a small trip, you get through border checks so much quicker and arrive at the destinations before the big tour groups get there! Maximum 8 people on our trip, we just had a group of 6 and it was wonderful. Air conditioning, knowledgeable guide, and he even took a detour on the way back to allow us to visit a winery in what used to be a train station in Ravno (one of the first villages to be destroyed in the Bosnian war) horrible history, but cannot be forgotten or ignored as it was in most of our lifetimes. Seeing the reality of that war really hits home

Guide was absolutely amazing, made sure we were introduced to the complex, intertwining Croatian and Bosnian histories every step of the way, and provided tips for places to see/restaurants to eat at when arriving in Mostar. We had 3-4 hours in the city, which is more than enough to explore all of its main landmarks, take pictures of the famous Stari Most, and even go up a minaret perched on the river bank. Border crossings were also quite smooth and tour altogether very pleasant. Highly recommended and a good value for money, especially if you’re short on time and would like to take the opportunity to see a bit of Bosnia when based in Dubrovnik.

Friday, 17 Sept 2021: Pick up on time, driver great, enjoyed our traveling companions -- total of 8 in the van. Waterfalls not crowded due to time of year! Mostar -- lovely -- had lunch at Divan -- down below the crowds with great view of the only original bridge. Trip to Winery / Hotel just before the border.

We had a great experience on this day trip. Both the waterfalls and Mostar are worth a visit. Our tour guide Joško was excellent, he shared knowledge throughout the trip on Dubrovnik, Croatia, Yugoslavia, Bosnia and more. The drive was very comfortable with a couple of nice breaks.

Great tour. Our tour guide was lovely and had more knowledge to offer than the length of the tour. But really enjoyed the tour. She even pointed us to good stores aftwrwards that she didnt have to. Was nice to find out about what took place inside the walls years ago.

We had an amazing tour with Adin and Sanin. The coffee workshop was amazing. The day was really well spent and at your own pace. Could't have asked for anything better.
