Full description

Leave bustling Dubrovnik behind to visit the iconic towns of Pocitelj, Medjugorje, and Mostar on a bus tour. Walk through Mostar's charming cobblestone alleyways with a local guide, learning about its rich history. Discover the other towns at your own pace, taking in the sights as you please.

First, head from Dubrovnik to the town of Neum, where you can shake your legs with a shopping break or for a morning coffee. Then, continue through the picturesque delta of the River Neretva to the small town of Pocitelj. In Pocitelj, enjoy free time to discover this charming town at your own pace. Pocitelj is a beautiful cultural and historical site featuring structures from the 15th century. Then, continue to Medjugorje and enjoy more time for sightseeing. A spiritual and religious site, this town is one of the most famous pilgrim destinations in the Catholic world. Since the apparition of Our Lady of Peace in 1981, it has been visited by pilgrims and tourists from all over the world. Then carry on to Mostar for a guided walking tour of this picturesque town. Through the centuries, Mostar became the meeting point of various cultures and religions. During your tour, see the imprints left behind by its varied and rich history. Besides the Old Bridge — the symbol of the town — visit the Mosque of Mostar, a Turkish house, and more. In the afternoon, sit back and relax on your bus journey back to Dubrovnik.

This is a great way to learn about Bosnia and the Muslim culture there. The old city is very beautiful and there are many restaurants in sites to see. The war in 1991 impacted the population however they are trying to Move on and live their life to the fullest today.

Our trip to Bosnia was excellent. Pick up and drop off was organized within a 5 min walk of our Airbnb. We went in a small shuttle bus and appreciated the small size of our tour group. Our driver and guide was awesome - he kept us on track and provided wonderful knowledge throughout the drive. This tour is really long with all the border crossings and time is limited in each place, but it’s a great way to be introduced to the diverse culture of Bosnia. Our guide in Mostar was just ok - he could have given more history instead of promoting local businesses. But we enjoyed our free time in the different locations and had an awesome day. Definitely bring enough cash in Euro or Kuna before leaving - everyone in our group seemed short by the end. Bosnia is cheaper than Dubrovnik though and worth experiencing if you want something different and to learn about a culturally rich destination.

It was a lovely experience indeed.Deena, our tour guide was very knowledgeable explaining everything about the tour. A liitle bit strict on the timebut it’s okey.Just bring some cash like kuna, euro, pounds or dollars because most of the shops esp for souvenirs don’t accept cards. We really enjoyed this tour. Highly recommendable to explore Mostar,Pocitelj & Medugorje. You can bring your own food & drinks if you want to save but their foods are cheaper than in Dubronik.
