This was an amazing day trip. We were collected at 6.20am from our sister hotel and set off on our journey. Following collecting other passengers, our lovely guide Niko talked us all through the border control process (we were lucky and this took only around 15 mins each way). Niko then gave us some history and info about the trip on our way to Montenegro, pointing out key landmarks along the way. His knowledge was excellent and his personal stories and experiences shone through. In Perast we paid the 10€ boat to visit Our Lady of the Rock. This was beautiful and we had 20 mins on the island (30 mins would have been perfect as it was a tad rushed). Please note you pay I think 4€ each to get into the chapel. We then had time to explore Perast. Due to the season and time of day it was quite quiet with not much to do so 1.5 hours was plenty. We then visited Kotor which was stunning and the 3 hours here was the ideal amount of time. Thank you so much to Niko and our driver!

The day trip to Montenegro was extremely well organized and planned out, we breezed through border control on the way there and back so we didn’t have time wasted waiting. Our tour guide Niko was absolutely AMAZING! Truly a rockstar guide, he made the entire trip! By far, the best guide I’ve ever experienced and I do many! He made the drive so much more interesting with his humor and knowledge of the country! If you book this tour, request NIKO by name! Definitely recommend this tour, Lady of the rocks was pretty to see in Perast, and Kotor was also beautiful as well. Had plenty of time to see everything without being rushed, eat lunch and just explore. What a wonderful day! Thanks again Niko! 🤍

Explore Montenegro on a day trip from Dubrovnik. Enjoy free time in the picturesque towns of Perast and Kotor. Departing from Dubrovnik in the morning enjoy the sights of the Old Town and its surroundings while driving through the beautiful Župa Dubrovačka and the Konavle region. After crossing the Montenegro border, continue along the picturesque Montenegro coast. During the drive through Boka Kotorska Bay, stop at the charming town of Perast. Have the option of visiting the island of Our Lady of the Rocks. During the drive, your host will tell you all about Montenegro's most important cultural monuments, and about the country's history and legends. Upon arrival at Kotor, enjoy 3 hours of free time to explore on your own. The town of Kotor is famous for its nautical tradition, famous commercial fleet, and imposing city walls. After sightseeing, join your tour host at the meeting point for a relaxing drive back to Dubrovnik.

  • Hotel pickup within a 20-minute drive outside Dubrovnik is only available for the small-group tour option. For the standard group tour, hotel pickup is only available for Dubrovnik hotels

We did Montenegro day trip from Dubrovnik with Supertours. Here are the points I would like to mention: Positives: 1) It was well planned tour program. We had right amount of free times at Perast & Kotor. 2) The Guide communicated properly. He explained history of Montenegro very well. 3) He promptly cleared the immigration with all passports at border controls. Negatives: 1) The guide strongly recommended us a icecream shop near the Perast Museum. Upon inquiry, we found that an icecream costs 10.5€ there whereas the same icecream can be purchased at 1.5€ at another adjacent icecream shop. Definitely, one can understand the inside story. 2) We were supposed to be dropped off at same place where we were picked up (i.e.- Pile gate) as per itinerary. But, we were dropped off at some other location from where we had to walk 15 minutes to reach pile gate. 3) We had done many trips in Europe. but, nowhere the guide requested for tips like in this tour. Its totally at Client's discretion.
