Full description

Take a day trip to Montenegro and sail down the Adriatic Coast. See Boka Kotorska Bay, explore Kotor, and wander through Perast. Come across UNESCO World Heritage Sites as you explore Montenegro.

Benefit from pick-up at your accommodation in Dubrovnik and drive to the border crossing with Montenegro to climb aboard a boat and cruise to Kotor. Admire the Venetian port and defensive city walls from the water. Get breathtaking views of the fjord and learn more about the cultural heritage of Boka Kotorska Bay. Enjoy free time to explore the monuments of the Old Town.

Board the boat again and sail to the small town of Perast. Visit the artificial island of Our Lady of the Rocks on arrival, and get some free time for lunch in the beautiful town center. Stroll the streets to find Baroque palaces, Orthodox monuments, and other UNESCO World Heritage monuments at your own pace. Marvel at the stone defense towers that remain untouched, and follow in the footsteps of Russian czars and Venetian princes who sailed in Kotor Bay.

Wonderful trip! We assumed this would be on a minibus, with limited group. But we were driven in a large full size tourist bus. No big deal, but for us was harder to follow the big crowd. This is the cause for one less star in rating. The trip, was very smooth, not much time wasted on the boarder crossings, which left more time for sightseeing. Excellent guide: gave lots of interesting info. First stop in Perast was just to transfer us on a boat. There is really nothing to do there except for buying the ice cream. The boat ride across the bay was very pleasant. We stopped at the Island with a beautiful little church, and allocated 25 min there was quite enough. Local guide gave us a tour of the church. Boat continued on taking us to Kotor. Local guide gave us another 40 min tour around the old town, and left us roaming its beautiful streets. We even had time for wonderful lunch. Return trip on the bus was also smooth and confortable.

We loved our tour to Montenegro- Ivana was a great guide and so compassionate - Bojan was a safe and friendly driver. I was on the fence about going, but I am so glad we did. The time flew by, it is such a gorgeous country with stunning landscape and very interesting culture. Ivana made sure we always had the information we needed, I was so happy we had her.

They should suppress coffee breaks or at least probe if people want to rest or not. The first coffee break was just starting and time is wasted. The visit itself is well worth it. Mostar and the falls are spectacular, but they are many hours on the road and on the borders. Maybe they should leave the tour earlier in the morning and try to make it to the sunset in Dubrovnik. They picked us up at 7.15am and returned at 8.15pm. The spectacular guide and I repeat, it was worth it for the tourist attractions but it is a good kill.
