What to Expect
Explore Korčula, the medieval town of Ston, and the Pelješac peninsula on a full-day private excursion from Dubrovnik.
In Ston, visit the well-preserved city walls of stone and learn about how they once protected the town. Then visit the old salt works, finding out how salt is produced from sea water.
Continue to Korčula, stopping in Orebić to board a boat that will transfer you to the island. Along the way, admire the green countryside and blue waters of the peninsula.
Once on the island, get to know one of the most romantic coastal cities in Croatia. As part of the tour, you will also visit a cathedral, the city museum, and the house that is believed to be the birthplace of famous traveler Marco Polo, who was born in Korčula in 1254.
After the tour, you will have some free time for lunch and shopping. Then you will begin your return trip to Dubrovnik. Along the way, stop off along the Pelješac peninsula, one of the most famous Croatian wine regions, where you can enjoy the extraordinary taste of Dalmatian wines at a local winery.
