The tour guide made all the difference. His in depth knowledge of the city and its food and wines, and how he wove the narrative into the entire tour was the point of difference. The food and wine were fantastic as well and his background in the food industry clearly showed in selection of restaurants and food and wine pairings which were off the beaten track but amazing at the same time.
