First of all... Davor (spelling?) was amazing! He made the experience so much better with his great energy and humor. He was extremely knowledgeable and had an obvious passion for the history of the city/country. We loved his visuals and he had great recommendations along the way (where to grab drinks along the tour...get the watermelon juice near the end!... along with places to eat/things to do afterwards in the city). The tour itself was perfect. Wall tickets were easy to purchase online the night before (not included in the price). Meeting spot was easy to find (couple tour guides there at the bus stop). Well paced and great information was provided along the way. We're grateful we did the early tour as it felt more intimate and we could fully enjoy the sights without the crowds. And by the end of the tour you could see how busy it would get if you went later in the day. DO NOT HESITATE to book this tour!

Get to the city walls as soon as the gates open on this guided walking tour in Dubrovnik. Uncover the secrets of this must-see city sight on a shared or a private tour. Capture pictures of sweeping views from the top of the Minceta Tower. 

Meet your guide at a centrally-located meeting point and begin your early morning adventure. As you walk, learn from your guide about how the wall was built. Listen to exciting legends and funny tales about the city.  

Get started by climbing some steps in the cool morning air to be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the main street of Stradun and the skyline of the Old Town. 

Stroll along 2 kilometers of the wall to enjoy beautiful landscapes of the sparkling Adriatic Sea and a skyline that still speaks of the splendor of a town that was a wealthy republic for 450 years. 

See how the wall is six meters deep in some places and pass by forts looking out to both sea and land. End your tour at the highest point along the wall, the top of Minceta Tower, where the view is not to be missed.

  • The tour involves stairs and takes you to a height between 25 meters and 40 meters (82-130 feet) and to 50 meters on top of Minceta Tower (150 feet)
  • The price for the city wall ticket is 35€ for adults and 15€ for kids aged 7-18 (in 2023). One visit to the city wall is included in the 'Dubrovnik Pass'
  • The provider reserves the right to cancel the tour in case of bad weather. The customer is then entitled to a full refund. Rain does not automatically mean that the tour is canceled.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience interesting. The trip itself lasted 2.75 hours which was longer than advertised- which we were happy with because it meant that our guide really took the time to give us history about the wall. He even added a little game of thrones fan lore into it as well. Overall- worth the money for the guided tour. Downside is that the wall also costs money. Also, there are a ton of stairs so be ready to climb.
