Great early morning wall walk. Our guide was very knowledgeable, answered questions, gave us historical perspectives and had a good sense of humor. Remember to buy your wall pass in advance - not included in your fee. Even in September at 8am it got warm fast. Bring a hat and some water although there are a few places on the wall you can get drinks or coffee. Recommend.

First of all... Davor (spelling?) was amazing! He made the experience so much better with his great energy and humor. He was extremely knowledgeable and had an obvious passion for the history of the city/country. We loved his visuals and he had great recommendations along the way (where to grab drinks along the tour...get the watermelon juice near the end!... along with places to eat/things to do afterwards in the city). The tour itself was perfect. Wall tickets were easy to purchase online the night before (not included in the price). Meeting spot was easy to find (couple tour guides there at the bus stop). Well paced and great information was provided along the way. We're grateful we did the early tour as it felt more intimate and we could fully enjoy the sights without the crowds. And by the end of the tour you could see how busy it would get if you went later in the day. DO NOT HESITATE to book this tour!

Our guided tour of the city walls with local Ivo was excellent! Ivo was very knowledgeable and had an answer to every question. It was good to explore the city walls before it was too hot and before the crowds came. I would and have recommended this tour to others!
