John was a great guide. Great way to see the old town from the sea.
My partner and I attended the Kayak tour this afternoon! Our guide John was brilliant at making us feel safe and secure. He got us going and then started telling local folklore and stories about the surrounding areas. It was very cold however he kept us moving so we didn’t freeze! We did also decide to go for a swim during the break at the cave which was an amazing experience! If going in the colder months, maybe consider a wet suit or something similar and some rock shoes!

Full description
Take a swim and snorkel break in Betina Cave before returning to the starting point.
Begin at the small port of Pile in the Old Town. After a short instructional session, paddle beneath the city walls until you reach the hidden cave beach known as Betina, where you will take a short 20-to-30-minute swimming and snorkelling break. After the break we will paddle towards the Lokrum island and return back to the starting point.

IMPORTANT!
At the moment there is some construction work in the park and it is closed so the only way to reach us is to come to the pier next to restaurant ORHAN and then take a left - small passage around the wall to the beach with the kayaks.

Look for a representative at Pile Bay under the Pile Gate (the western entrance to the Old Town). Walk towards the beach through the park under the gate. You will see a stand with the name of the activity provider written on it.

- We use sit on top double kayaks (two persons in one kayak).
- Small child can sit in the middle of the kayak (min 4 years old).
- A Single kayak is only used in a specific situation and can't be reserved upfront or requested.
- Changing rooms and toilets are not available at the premise.
