Dip your toes into the wonderful world of diving on this Discover Scuba Diving course in Dubrovnik. In just 1 day you’ll get a taste of what the PADI Open Water Diver course is like. After completing the 1-day course, you’ll receive a certificate and credits toward your PADI Open Water Diver certification if you decide to continue. If you simply want to get wet and see the rich marine life of the Adriatic Sea, or would like to embark on a lifetime of adventure, this course is ideal for you! The course includes theory and an equipment briefing before diving, and then 2 dives with the instructor into the magical marine world. All necessary equipment is included. There is a minimum age of 10 years to participate.

As the sun slowly dips below the horizon, your diving mask will slip under the surface and you’ll be greeted with a golden underwater glow. Due to the location of the diving center, the sunsets in the area are among the most beautiful in the whole Dubrovnik region. And the sunsets under the Adriatic Sea are even more dramatic. Nothing can be more romantic than taking your loved one for a sunset dive in the Adriatic Sea. On a night dive with Blue Planet, you’ll be taken to the best diving sites to fully appreciate the dying rays of sunlight that pierce through the surface. And as the night falls, you’ll experience a whole new underwater world. You’ll then be greeted by a wonder of the Croatian Adriatic Sea, fluorescent plankton, as it glitters and lights up the underwater. If you want to study or take photos of the fish, the sea at night will reveal to you the abundance of fish of the Adriatic. As darkness falls, the bigger fish emerge from their daytime hiding spots. After diving the night away, you can relax and unwind in the swimming pool or chill out in the Jacuzzi with a cocktail.

Plunge into the Mediterranean to explore the amazing reefs, caves, marine wildlife, and abandoned ships off the coast of Dubrovnik. Take your pick of one of 12 fantastic diving sites, each offering a different piece of exploration along Croatia’s picturesque coastline. This 2.5-hour diving session is for certified divers only. Skip the training sessions and jump right into the crystal blue waters to discover beautiful scenery and quiet, isolated islands. Some possible diving sites are: Bezdan At the southern shore of the Kolocep Island, Cape Bezdan offers shallows and sheer drops into the abyss. It also features the remains of the two-mast coaster, The Aurora. Taranto Shipwreck Just a short 10-minute boat ride from the diving center Blue Planet lies the shipwreck Taranto, a merchant vessel was built in 1899 and used by the Italian navy throughout World War II. Tomislav On the shores of the Lokrum island, the shipwreck Tomislav offers scuba divers a close look at sunken treasure. Lokrum island is Dubrovnik’s green oasis, just 10 minutes from the historic old city. Join an exciting diving course in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik, one of the most renowned diving destinations in Croatia. Combine both boat and shore diving and take on various exciting dives to become a certified advanced diver – and all without setting one foot in a classroom! The Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) course lasts for 2 days, and includes 5 dives. Begin by learning important navigational skills with the preliminary 2 dives, then fill your adventure quota with the remaining 3. Dive amongst cave walls in Mala Afrika, experience true deep water diving in Marova špilja, enjoy a remarkable night dive at Pipa Rock, and explore the Tomislav Wreck on a spectacular wreck dive. After completing the course, you will qualified to dive in 30-meter depths and will receive credit for the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty course.

If scuba diving appeals to you, then the internationally recognized PADI Open Water Diver certification course is key to your diving future. The crystal-clear, warm waters of the Adriatic Sea, beautiful reefs, and stunning marine life make learning to dive in Dubrovnik a pleasure. During this 4-5 day course you’ll learn diving theory and the necessary skills to dive in open water. Highly experienced, enthusiastic instructors lead this course, using the facilities located right on the beach of the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel. With your successful completion of the course you’ll have earned your PADI Open Water Diver certification and be qualified to dive to depths of 18 meters, with a buddy. There is a minimum age of 10 years to participate.
