So pleased we took the tour, loved Mostar with is vibrant atmosphere, lots of little shops and restaurants at great prices compared to Dubrovnik. Wear flat shoes as the Bridge is very slippery & the town has rounded cobblestones. Go down to the river area to get great photos of the famous bridge. The waterfalls at Krevace were stunning but it was so very busy / only a short stay there but enough for a break & photo opportunities. Our guide was lovely & gave lots of information & explained about Bosnia-Hercegovina, we would definitely recommend
A long day with lots of travelling... but worth it! The waterfalls were beautiful, a good 10 minutes walk down to them... there is a little train to take people up and down, which we missed so decided to walk back up.... big mistake!! It was boiling hot and we were exhausted when we got on the minibus! We were lucky with the border controls (3 each way) there were no queues. Mostar was incredible, so full of character and history and very beautiful. We had a very reasonable and delicious lunch by the river near the bridge.
It was an amazing experience! The Waterfalls were very beautiful and the city of Mostar was gorgeous. Our guide Petra was amazing and she was so funny and professional, likewise our chauffeur was very good (sorry, didn't catch the name but we went there the 16th of September). Only wish there would've been more time at Mostar to walk around. They accept kunas and euros and sometimes cards in Bosnia-Herzegovina (just ask first).
We had Pietra as our tour guide! she was so upbeat which was definitely refreshing to see for an early morning pick up! she was soooo knowledgable of the history of dubrovnik and mostar ... i wish all tour guides were like her ! the tour itself was 10/10 ... i dont want to spoil what you are goin to see but if u do go ... she would be the best!
This was a pretty good tour, I was apprehensive about the long drive and border crossings but since it wasn't the busy season neither of these were that bad. The water falls are beautiful and the old town in Mostar was a great experience, we had lunch at a little place near the first bridge and the food was fantastic and not expensive at all!
