Our tour guide Ivana was excellent! A local from Dubrovnik- she knew her material and related it to us in an easy to understand manner. Her history stories, local culture stories, and personal experiences were all spot on. I appreciate her taking the extra step in moving from shaded areas to shade to tell us the stories (heat in July is brutal), walking at a comfortable pace, and using Bluetooth earpieces to aid in hearing her over the loud and crowded streets of old town. Worthwhile tour - exactly what I was hoping for.

Full description

Enjoy a guided walk around Dubrovnik’s Old Town starting at the Large Onofrio's Fountain. Head up Prijeko Street to the Old Port, stopping to admire St. Saviour's, the grandiose Franciscan and Dominican church, and see wine-producing vines believed to be over a century old.

Ships from Dubrovnik were renowned throughout the Mediterranean. The ships were built and loaded in the legendary Arsenal, which is another stop on the tour.

Hear stories of the famous quarantine and the fortresses of St. Luke and St. John, and the history of the Church of St. Blaise, the Cathedral, the Rector's Palace, Sponza Palace, and Orlando's Column.

Helena our guide pointed out some unique aspect of the Old town that we would have missed had we just walked on our own. Such as the first latin graffiti on an old church wall. Viewpoint for shooting practice during war times. Great and interesting information passed on to us.
