Full description

Visit some of the most photogenic locations in Northern Ireland on a Game of Thrones locations tour from Dublin. Stroll through intertwined beech trees known as the Dark Hedges, and see Ballintoy Harbor, the capital of the Iron Islands. Stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Giant’s Causeway.

After departing from central Dublin, travel first to the Dark Hedges. Journey down the tunnel-like avenue and stop at the site where Arya Stark, Gendry, and Hot Pie escaped on the King's Road. Continue to the Giant's Causeway to enjoy around 1.5 hours of exploring the 40,000 interlocking hexagonal stone columns on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

Continue to scenic Ballintoy Harbor, and discover where Theon was baptized in front of Balon and Yara, and where Euron was drowned and crowned to be king. Enjoy time to take in the views and reflect on all the magic and mystery of Game of Thrones.  Drive through the Glens of Antrim to go to Belfast. Take free time to admire the city sights. See the famous Crown bar, Belfast City Hall and its Titanic memorial garden, Big Fish, and Albert’s Clock. Finally, relax on the journey back to Dublin with arrival in the early evening.

Our guide Patrick was excellent. I haven’t watched games of thrones but the locations connected to it are historical , breathtaking and I very much enjoyed them. All of our stops were great for photos. There is a fair bit of walking/hiking dress accordingly. I enjoyed Belfast , Patrick was very knowledgeable about the history of the city.

Danny and Tony were exceptional! We had a super smooth day with no delays, extra stops and great tunes. Great craic altogether and super well-informed guide, providing lots of detail about the history of the places visited, with a touch of humour! Well done, will use the service again, and recommend you do too!

The excursion is very worthwhile, despite the fact that the departure is so early. The guide explained the history of all the sites very well and made the trip more enjoyable. Great and fast transportation. The only drawback would be that we only spent an hour in Belfast city, even though it is small, I would have liked to have stayed longer. For the rest, we had plenty of time to see the cliffs and tour the entire reserve.
