1. Dublin: Coastal Craft Beer & Seafood Trail
After meeting with your tour guide, you will wander through a picturesque fishing village, stopping off at locations along the route to sample the delights of Howth. Along the way, you will hear tales of Howth's ancient past, including Viking and Norman invasions, the history of the 700-year-old castle, kings landing, gun running of Howth (1914), and many many more, mixed with some funny Irish anecdotes. As you stroll across Howth Harbor, you will see the fishing boats returning from sea with their latest catch, and be able to interact with the local fishermen, who are only too willing to share a story or two. Have all of your senses engaged on your journey, with the best views in Ireland, magical sea smells, sounds of the wide variety of local wildlife, and unrivaled food and drink. A selection of seafood will be made on the day, to ensure it is locally sourced and the freshest in Ireland. Your culinary choices will include Dublin Bay Prawns, gambas, mussels, oysters, crab claws, calamari, and of course, Howth's famous seafood chowder.
