Full description
Our small and intimate group tours leave the Harbour behind on a voyage of discovery spotting the seasonal sea life along the way, puffins, seals, gannets and guillemots to name a few. Onboard our small boats we are able to get up close to the world famous UNESCO designated Dublin Bay Biosphere, Ireland's Eye Island, caves and marine life. See the famous Howth cliffs and village on our rustic and authentic boat trip, hearing about the famous history and insider tales of this incredible peninsula. When you return to the ferry port there are several seafood restaurants along the pier to enjoy, each one better than the other. Nature takes centre stage as we explore the nooks and crannies along the islands waterline, getting up close and personal with the mesmerising nature and wild creatures. This is a Nature Reserve protected by EU habitats and the core zone of the UN Dublin Bay Biosphere. The most spectacular natural feature, however, is the huge freestanding rock called “the Stack”. Located at the northeastern corner of the island, it plays host to a large variety of seabirds. There is nothing quite like the experience of the sea from a purpose built boat with a friendly, salty and expert skipper.

Wholeheartedly recommend this trip - the best way to experience the water and see the island. The skipper was lovely and stopped the boat several times for us to see seals close-up and to tell us about the bird life and the island’s history, and to answer questions. He was so engaging and made it a really great experience. We arrived at the pier a bit early, so could see a couple of the bigger tourist boat trips go before ours, and they seemed far more impersonal. This trip has a small maximum capacity, meaning you can move around the deck for photos or just to enjoy the view, talk to the skipper, and really get the best from the experience. So glad I booked it, and would not hesitate to recommend. Definitely one of my Dublin highlights!

Best tour in 7 days ! We visited Ireland, London and France. Our tour guide was excellent, so informative and the experience was stunning! We loved seeing the wildlife and the island from a whole new perspective. Go to the restaurant Aqua afterwards for the freshest fish and chips.
