Grace O'Keeffe was our tour guide. AMAZING!! We were amazed about how she communicated the knowledge and understanding of Irish history. This tour is a MUST! Grace holds a BA (Hons), MPhil and a Ph.D. from Trinity College Dublin all in Irish History. Dr. O’Keeffe taught undergraduate History classes at Trinity for several years, focusing on Irish and British medieval history. For the last decade, during the summer months and outside of the academic year, she has conducted history walking tours in Dublin, to both local and international audiences. It was a privilege to have Grace as our tour guide.

Simply Excellent

We spent two weeks in Ireland and Northern Ireland. During our time there we went on many tours and learned a lot about Irish history. Our walking tour in Dublin was one of the best. Our guide spoke loud and clear, and was very knowledgeable. The group was a bit bigger than I was expecting (~35 people), but he did a good job making sure that no one got dropped. I would highly recommend this tour.

Enjoyable, detailed tour

The tour covered not only local history but a fair bit of all Ireland history. Our guide, Eoin, was very knowledgable and personable, he took the trouble to ask everyone where they were from and had a quick chat about their home countries. The tour was interesting and covered some quirky details, such as the role of the high windows in trinity college in the 1916 rising and particular details about O’Connell’s National bank building . Do not miss this tour if you have an interest in Irish history.
